Isidro Quintana: Our CEO and co-founder, Isidro, suggested using Bitcoin in 2012 to overcome certain gaming barriers, inspired by the problems that the Bizzard Diablo 3 auction house presented. In 2015, he began working on the concept. Isidro sold his mobile game company, Promineo Studios, in 2018 to focus on this idea, which he presented as his final assignment for the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme at Oxford University.
Steven Dobesh: While studying at Oxford, he met Steven Dobesh, who teaches Isidro. There, he presented the idea for this startup, and Steven has been actively helping as a co-founder since. He worked at the Pentagon, Joint Chiefs of Staff, as the Technology and Innovation Chief for the Logistics Directorate. In that role, he was the Joint Staff Subject Matter Expert on Blockchain; architected and led the first Department of Defense blockchain pilot to secure the digital thread of additive manufacturing (3D printing)
Ricardo Valera: Our CTO and co-founder, Ricardo, has been involved in crypto since 2014 and was part of the Ubisoft blockchain research team. When he met Isidro, they connected over their passion for video games and blockchain technology, recognizing the potential for change in the industry. Ricardo left his AAA gaming career to pursue this vision.
